According to the BBC it's 05:24 GMT -
Re: Mars Curiosity set for landingTo be fair, descent and landing can mean two different things...(Original post by NapoleonDynamite)

Id just pick the earliest of the times... -
Re: Mars Curiosity set for landingLol yeh that's why I was getting confused with the times. The descent is apparently half 5-ish but it's 06:30 for landing according to this(Original post by Dmon1Unlimited)

Re: Mars Curiosity set for landingI'm no expert but a 1 hour ish length between starting decent and actually landing doesn't sound too off to me... Start descent as in start lowering altitude ...and landing as in touch the ground(Original post by NapoleonDynamite)

Re: Mars Curiosity set for landingMe too. Just hit 80k on here. I was saddened when I realised I have no one to send this to who I know - not because it's too late, but because none of them would find this remotely interesting(Original post by NapoleonDynamite)
I'm on the NASA website atm. 89 thousand watching atm ^^ would expect more.
Oh well. -
Re: Mars Curiosity set for landingHehe, I was up late anyway and then discovered this and it's given me an excuse not to go to bed. Damn tired though(Original post by Id and Ego seek)
