Re: Typicle week child nursing student...
Im just about to go into my second year at lsbu, children's nursing

At southbank you do three days a week with two 'study days'. First year we were in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday we'd have a field specific lecture from 9-1, Thursdays was anatomy and physiology all day (9-3) and Friday we did our skills lab work for example injection technique, basic life support and manual handling.
You have a twelve week hospital placement and six week special school placement (child branch only), depending on which group your in will determine when these placements take place.
Hope I helped! -
