Does anyone else feel scared when...
The phone rings and when the doorbell rings?

Don't think I've ever experienced it.

I find it annoying though when either the phone rings or someone knocks on the door whilst I'm on the toilet.

Never had that. I've had strange phone calls before though which have freaked me out.

I find answering the phone terrifying if I don't know who it is, or if it's someone I haven't spoken to/rarely speak to on the phone - I never answer the house phone. I'm usually fine with the door though

...sometimes when I'm jacking off ... I have this fear its going to be someone letting me know they can see me.

though it would be my own fault for standing at the open window and doing it :P

No, but I did get pissed off by calls that used to keep coming through on the landline from a guy claiming I had a virus on my PC and he wanted to fix it with my debit card number (seriously does ANYONE ever fall for something like that? Stupidest idea for a scam ever...). After about the third call I started replying with "shut up a minute and hang on, I'll just pass you to my TV and that'll talk to you" and put the received by the TV speaker until he got bored and hung up. he eventually stopped and I was too lazy to go to this extreme: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7OgWcwgB50

    Don't worry, I'm sure that's a common experience.

If the house phone is ringing I normally just leave it if I can't be bothered to get up. I figure if anyone really wants to get ahold of me they will ring my mobile, which I always answer. The house phone is usually junk calls anyway.

The door I am not bothered about. I have three dogs and when they are standing behind me barking at the top of their lungs, cold callers don't tend to hang around for long.

I get really scared when our house phone rings, because I'm worried it might be my Grandad who has dementia, and talking to him on the phone really upsets me because he says some horrible things about family members (not meant maliciously I'm sure, he can't help it). I'm good answering the door, but I hate doing so in my PJs if it's early in the morning or late at night.

I hate it when the phone rings very late at night/very early in the morning, as that usually means someone in our family has been taken ill/passed away. Nobody has ever come to door at those times of day/night though, so I'm not worried about that!

That's never happened to me before, although if it scares you it probably means you watch too many horror movies.

Oh jeez you had to put in a clip.. The one movie that totally freaks me out! no sleep tonight!
my boyfriend keeps saying that when I'm asleep he'll put the video on to wake me up he also has a mirror in his room thats thats like the mirror in the video when the girl is brushing her long hair.. My boyfriend is actually kind of mean lol anyway thanks for freaking me out! Lol

Anyway to the post I occassionally get freaked out depending on the time of night and if I'm on my own. I definately wouldn't answer the door to anyone in the dark unless I was expecting them. During the day I wouldn't care.

Apart from the dumb people in horror films, who answers their door in the middle of the night anyway?
