Biomedical Engingeering schools

I'm really interested in taking Biomedical Engineering for undergraduate studies. But again, when I search for the schools, too less number of schools offer that course. Can you suggest me the good ones for this particular course?

Oxford only offers biomedical engineering for master's degree. I really want to get into Oxford. And do you anything about EEM at Oxford? How difficult is it to get accepted?

Oxford offers general engineering undergrad which you can then specialise into biomedical engineering and get an MEng, it is a masters yes but not postgrad. Are you just looking into doing a BEng rather than an integrated masters?

But also I would say definitely look into imperial. It is a great uni for engineering and I am a bit biased because I will hopefully go there next month to do biomedical engineering, but I think it is the best uni for this course

Thanks for the info. I'm okay either way MEng or BEng. But I've found out that I can only apply for one particular course. So, how would I do that if I still want to get into Oxford? I prefer Oxford, not because about this course but because of its prestige. Please let me know and thank you! Oh by the way, quote me and reply so that I can check instantly

My friends told me that I could only apply for one course in five different universities. So, if I wanted to apply Oxford, I might have to choose general engineering at other universities too?

Sorry I forgot to quote you on my last reply. You can apply for different courses at different unis so what your friend said isn't true. But you will have to send the different unis separate personal statements for different courses.

Ooh, I didn't know that :/ Thanks for the info. I'm only gonna attend AS so I don't know much about those things yet. So, I can just apply Management in some schools and Biomedical Engineering in others? That is gonna be awesome! By the way, do you know any other schools that offer Biomedical Engineering plus Management? I've heard about EEM in Oxford, and I've also heard that there is quite a higher chances of getting rejected for that subject. Is it also true?

Yeah you can apply for management in some unis and biomed engineering in others. I know in Warwick you can do General engineering with business management and they have biomedical engineering options on offer which is good because it gives you a broader knowledge with the option of specialising as well as biomed engineering and management. Warwick business school has a very good repupation as does the engineering department. I'm not sure about EEM in Oxford as I didn't apply there, but you can always phone them up and ask what they require and how you can improve your application.
