    Changing cars mid-way through policy.
    Well not exactly mid-way -

My Renewal is up in a few months and the same month/month after I'm expecting to upgrade to a newer car.

My current renewal (as of today) is £1500

on the new car it is £810

If I renew it on my current car and then a month later get my new car Would it stay on the £1500 or would i get a pro-rota refund?

Would it be wise to sort out the new car for my renewal date?

they normally give you a discount if it is less, but with all the charges it could be more.

when i changed my car over by the time they charge admin fee and a fee to switch cars over it is normally a lot more. i paid £367 on top of my £700 (i was 5 months in) and the renewal price this year is £567

so sometimes all the charges they some how fit in there when changing cars over adds up

you reckon it'll be safer to try and sort it all out? I can get the car any time from october really so... providing i dont cancel my policy on my other car, i should be fine right? I'll be part exing it, not scrapping.

There will be an admin charge of around 20 quid plus or minus any difference in premium.
Just change the car when you want to.
