    Teaching Assistant Position?
I was offered to teach the kiddies intro to Econ during my MSc and was wondered if there was any benefit to this outside of the financial one - e.g. strengthen my PhD application to some US unis like MIT?

    Thanks

I would guess (so take this with a grain of salt) that it would be seen as a weak positive sign, although less important than your grades, letters of recommendations, etc.

Agree with this, also remember that you are doing the university a favour by teaching - you will be much cheaper than staff on proper contracts. Remember that, and don't let yourself be exploited by staff asking if you can 'help out' on course X or lecture Y. A small amount of teaching is just as valuable as a large amount of teaching, at postgrad level.
