This year drilling in Antarctica was approved and work is underwayI been reading online about how this year the government approved companies giants such as Shell and others to drill Antarctica for gas and oil, big concerns arise for fear of an oil spill, this is them taking advantage of the melting ice, the melting ice is their gain, I believe they began the drilling process in June this year

I hope I have the opportunity to visit Antarctica before it becomes an industrial wasteland, the same goes for the rainforests. -

No joke, I think there were plans to remove them all a few years ago, but I can't imagine its easy to get a load of corpses and junk off a massive mountain. It's only a matter of time before the price of oil rises so high people sanction drilling there imo. -

Greenpeace HAVE been doing something about it - they've been disrupting a lot of Shell petrol stations (both peacefully and by more forceful means)

Whilst everyone else is trying to push renewable energy they are on their own agenda to fill their pockets, I mean provide oil for the world.
