Re: My fitness and diet , is therea a link? You're on a low carb diet and wondering why exercise makes you tired? That said, not being able to run 50m is abnormal. Have you been to the doctor?(Original post by 4TSR)
Hello people and good morning!
I am currently on a low carb diet. It is not too bad, it keeps me full all day and I hardly eat in between (celery and cheese sticks for snacks, sometimes)
I have a problem though, I am not obese at all, slightly over weight, but not obese.... having said that I am really unfit still. I cannot use a bike for more than 3 minutes without getting too tired, even sometimes if i itch, my hand feels tired from itching!! I just am so weak... I do not have iron deficiency (got it checked) I also hardly ever exercised... but still, people who don't exercise can do better than this, surely! I can't even run for more than 50m (if that...)
What's wrong? even before the low carb diet I was crap and unfit... so I cannot even blame that. -
Re: My fitness and diet , is therea a link?everything that has fat and protein - meat, cheese and veggie(Original post by tikkitak)
How much are you eating daily? What do you eat on a normal day?

Re: My fitness and diet , is therea a link?a home made burger, and instead of buns its wrapped in a leaf of lettuce. I also put cheese with it(Original post by tikkitak)
But how much? Can you give me a rough idea of what you eat for each meal? Then we can work out if your tiredness is related to what you're eating!
I snack on celery and cheese sticks
sometimes I make cauliflower rice with tuna/salmon.
I drink diet coke and tea with sweetner
that isn't one meal.... just idea of my diet lol -
Re: My fitness and diet , is therea a link?Excellent. Maybe you could start running it. I walk a lot, probably 2-3 miles a day with the dog but there is no way I could run that far yet. It takes time to build up your muscles to be able to run. Good luck.(Original post by 4TSR)
I started walking 50 minutes to work 4 times a week
I walk everywhere etc but that is all relatively recent
