Re: How much would you kill someone for?Yeah. Even millions wont buy you hi tech cars with missile launchers and stuff.(Original post by tammie123)
I hope for the sake of humanity, everyone that's saying that they'd actually do it for money is just joking, because human life can not possibly equate to money. -
Re: How much would you kill someone for?
depends entirely on the situation, I wouldn't accept it from some stranger out of the blue, if I was completely sure that I would be safe in doing it then I'd probably do it for about £25k
nope, I've often thought how easy it would be to kill a person and get away with it(Original post by tammie123)

Re: How much would you kill someone for? This isn't how political philosophy works; first of all, it confuses discussion to conflate personal and political morality - nor is there some kind of absolute binary between utilitarianism and deontology.(Original post by Aspiringlawstudent)
You should also be against things like welfare and the NHS then, if you respect the dignity of persons, rather than utilitarianism.
It confuses me that people would almost never kill one person to save two, but would happily rob one person to do so. -
Re: How much would you kill someone for?
Really depends on who I'm assigned to kill. I know most hitmen are not allowed to feel any emotional attachment to their jobs, but if I was going to kill someone I'd have to do it to someone I thought deserved it - not for what they've said, not for the way they look, not for the views they hold, but for something they've done. And even then it'd have to be something which had adversely affected me.

Re: How much would you kill someone for?
This threads hilarious.
> Someone posts they wouldn't kill anyone for any amount of money
"OMG YOU MEAN YOU WOULDN'T KILL HITLER/ KILL SOMEONE WHO'S TRYING TO KILL YOU?!?"
> Someone posts they wouldn't kill someone without a good reason
"OMG YOU MEAN YOU'LL KILL SOMEONE JUST FOR LOOKING AT YOU WRONG!?!"
