So basically word got out that I like this certain guy before summer hols. He's really shy but fit and never talks to girls or anything. He's a twin.

When my friends told me he knew I liked him they were like 'oh he just went bright red and looked at the floor and smiled.' Does that mean he likes me or not? I was talking to one of my mates and he was nearby. As soon as he looked at me he just looked down.

Does he like me- or is he just ashamed I like him?

He likes you because he is shy he doesn't feel comfortable to look directly at you. Maybe try and talk to him on one to one basis, he'll love it (I know I would).
