    Find the value of t

    Take logarithms; what you get is a linear equation in t that can be solved by rearranging.

    OP do you know how to take logs? and you can do some obvious rearranging before taking logs

    i rearranged to 7^(t)-(3t-1)=4^(t+1)-(3t-3)
