I hope for you dont marry a women and have children whilst being gay, if you have second thoughts and feel like you need to come out down the road, you'll destroy that family.
Perhaps I phrased tuis in a wrong way. What I would like of myself is that, but I would never treat someone like that, let alone bring children into that environment. Sorry. I will never marry or have a relationsp with a women, as it would be totally disrespectful.

Nobody says anything about Matt Bomer and his husband and his THREE children.
I don't actually know who he is, but I know a great number of people who unfortunately would. It's a sad truth, but a significant proportion of our population are homophobic.

You need to google him. He is an actor who is poenly gay- he was recently in the film Magic Mike. And he is rumoured to be playing Christian Grey in Fifty Shades of Grey XD.

I think it is the enviroment one is raised in perhaps. I doubt sexuality is determined by your genes. And nor is it a choice- you didn't chose to be gay. You also didn't chose to be attracted to males. They is nothing wrong with you. Just love yourself the way you are and someone else will .

You don't have to tell anyone about it until your ready, this could be months or years. And before you even try to...you can't stop being gay. It is not a disease you can rid of, it is part of you and that is what makes you beautiful .
There is an interesting hypothesis that supposedly increases a guy's odds of being gay- one that is in between genetics and environment. If you have a few older brothers you are more likely to be gay. This is because a male foetus is treated more as an alien infestation than anything else (a female foetus is not), and the woman's immune system actually tries to get rid of it (obviously to no avail!). However, if a woman has had a number of sons before, the immune system will have gotten used to these invaders and starts to be able to strike back- by 'feminising' the foetus* which results in a higher chance of that baby being gay.

Like I said, it is a hypothesis, there is some evidence towards it and others that say that the number of older brothers has little/no effect, but it is another thing that really thoroughly points towards your sexuality not being a choice.

*due to me not being a biologist, I'm not entirely sure of the technicalities!

Environment? So what about gay people born into a homophobic family/country?
What about that environment would make somebody gay?

No I never meant that. Being born in a homophobic family/country doesn't stop anyone being gay. Look at places such as Uganda where being gay gets the death penalty- yet that doesn't stop Ugandans from being homosexual.

Read the theory dem503 posted above. It is very interesting.
