Just like to remind people of the difference between a fear and a phobia. Phobias are very irrational and you will literally do anything to avoid it (eg won't go to graveyard due to phobia of maggots, avoids everyday things)
I have a fear of anything to do with zombies and maggots!

Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)awh I'll help you off the chair!(Original post by FinnLassie)
I have a fear of heights and sometimes it can be really bad. Sometimes I go into full panic mode if there's no one to help me off a chair if I'm standing on it.

Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)
Balloons.... s**t scared of them. Posting as anon due to fact everyone who knows me knows that.
Worst day of my life when we did sex ed class in year 10 and all the boys blew up condoms as balloons and chased me around the classroom until I was on the floor and they were waving them in my face. Very nearly wet myself -
Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)Wouldn't say that's an irrational fear(Original post by Id and Ego seek)
Of being raped. -
Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)I used to be too. I still can't take lifts on my own (I'd rather walk up 40 flights of stairs) but if it's in a busy place I'm okay. I've been stuck in a lift before and it wasn't actually scary at all(Original post by Nessie162)
But I'm also paranoid about using lifts (I'm scared that I'd get stuck in them or it'll break and fall down).

Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)As you are a man I would say that you have a weird phobia. Normally women feel fear for spider.(Original post by Jamie1993)
Who has the weirdest phobia? I have a phobia of spiders...
I feel fear for huge sea dwellers or predators of ocean (sharks for instance). -
Re: Phobias (post as anonymous)I can’t stand moths.
There’s a load here because the windows are always open and the lights are left on. Im too afraid to catch them myself so I just suck them up in the vacuum. That’ll teach them for invading my room.
Oh, and Ants. I hate the horrible little things. Spiders i can deal with but ants creep me out.Last edited by tsrstar; 07-08-2012 at 22:20.
