Just got my offer!?I already had a conditional offer from Sheffield Hallam and I firmed it. I just received an email from UCAS Track that I have exceeded the requirements and have confirmed my place at the university, therefore my application says unconditional. Results don't come out till next week and I'm sure UCAS isn't suppose to email right now about places. I know its a good thing I know and I'm over the moon but I want to know why I have got this information a week early. Has anyone else been through this?
Mod edit for clarification:
This applicant met their offer through their BTEC results which were released earlier in the summer.
Their pending A level results were irrelevant to the offer and this is not a leak - you will not be receiving emails unless you have already received your qualifications.Last edited by oxymoronic; 07-08-2012 at 23:38. -

Thank you for letting me know! Though I'm still confused as to why they have sent this early. Don't get me wrong I'm happy but in shock! Can you please copy and paste that part of email so that I'm at ease. Thank you btw !

Re: Just got my offer!?I'm pretty sure I read somewhere on the UCAS website that universities receive your results 3 days before (so monday)... Emails coming out from today were only for Scottish applicants as far as I know!

Did you do A-levels? Just that my friend who does a BTEC got told she had a university place as well today (but she knew her results anyway). -
