HELP: Student account as a postgrad?

HELP: Student account as a postgrad?Hey everyone,
Does anyone know anything about opening a student account as postgraduate/master's student?
Bit of background info: 3 years ago I moved to the UK and also started an undergraduate degree. Back then I couldn't open a student account because you need to have lived in the UK for at least 3 years in order to open one. I just graduated and I'm continuing with a master's degree (part-time) I had a look around for student accounts and I find it all quite vague. Most banks don't mention postgraduates at all, yet when I rang HSBC they told me it was no problem that I was a master's student or that it was part-time.
Anyone got any experience with this? -

Re: HELP: Student account as a postgrad?i don't know how it would work for opening one, but my bank automatically moved me to a graduate account last september, but i changed back to student as i am doing my masters. it is still just a student account that you want as that covers both undergrad and postgrad as far as i am aware. then some banks have the 'graduate' account for the 2 years after you finish being a student...
It shouldnt be a problem. I woul just pop down to your local bank with your acceptance forms onto the degree and proof of address etc and have a chat to someone
