Re: Cannot pick my university degree at all!!! Help!!!?
Maybe you should wait until next week when you get your AS results as this will give you a better indication of what grades you will be predicted for a2, then you will have a good idea of which course you could get onto or which one will suit you the most.
In the meantime you could look at the websites of unis that offer the courses that you mentioned above and read through the course content, entry criteria, accommodation etc and write down a list of possible courses/universities.
I think you will find it a lot easier to write your personal statement once you have decided on what course to study.
good luck on your exam results!!!, (I'm waiting for my AS results too)

If you want to do medicine, I don't think you should give up. The work experience for after the deadline can still be useful. In your personal statement, you can write that 'I will be doing x soon from which I hope to learn...', and there's a chance that it could actually be before your interviews which is helpful.
With the volunteering/work experience, I only started looking recently as well for medical work experience. I am now in contact with a doctor who is actually willing to take me quite soon. I only started looking in July. I haven't really found anything in a care home either, but I have started voluntary work at a charity shop and I have my part time job in retail. That's it really. Nothing clinical. My point is, you can always still get something.
I'm actually quite like you. I don't KNOW what I want to do. I'm thinking Chemistry, Medicine. argh argh argh argh.

I'm sort of drifting away from Medicine, because I don't want to spend the next fifity years still having to do exams and working late shifts and not being able to have much time for family etc.
Nice to know I'm not the only one whose struggling though ^^
Do you have any ideas where you might apply to? x -

LOL, well you can still work in a hospital with pharmacy if that's what you were interested in.
I struggle with any decisions, even deciding what sweets to get in a shop, it's so bad.
I don't really know where i'm applying, I want it to be in London though (where I live), so I don't have to move out for all of the years. I want to experience living alone, but not for the whole time.

I swapped my A Levels four times, until I finally made a decision in October. haha.
Wish we could try a degree out for a week, it would make things so much easier!!
I'm same as you, not too sure where to apply.
I live up north near manchester, and I really like Durham Uni. I want to live away from the family, but not too far, so I can travel home if I need too
Never thought of London, it seems a little crowded!!!
What A levels are you doing? x -
Re: Cannot pick my university degree at all!!! Help!!!?
I'm guessing Core2?
Just resit the module and take a gap year if needed

I may consider something out of London, not really far though. I do Biology, Chemistry, History, and Maths. you?
