    Kindle screen?
Does anyone know much about the latest kindles? I owned a third gen one but the screen was crap, I'm clumsy and broke it three times. So it just occurred to me it would be a great idea if they took a look at smartphone manufacturers and followed suit. If they used something like gorilla glass, which having seen a video of a paintball gun being fired at it tells me it's tough as ****, then I'd get a new one asap, currently I'm a bit wary of buying something I know I'm just going to break.

    Or maybe it's the LCD?

You could have easily got a screen protector, so the screen would have been a bit more secure

That would not have helped. Pretty sure tough glass is the answer, I lent on them accidentally and the screen cracked.

Doubt they would, it would make the kindle more expensive...there should be bigger protective covers
