Probably true but that tactic relies on there actually being some good news, good news relies on the Tories being competent, which they aren't.

Are you referring to the Q2 GDP figures? I hate to burst your bubble, but the first estimate always comes out around 4 weeks after the quarter is over. Also the ONS release it, not the government.

They were slashed because of the last figures not because of something new so it's went from like minus 7 to zero so it's grown by 7%
