Hey, I was just wondering whether anyone else is set to study Computer Science at Newcastle Uni in September? I have tried looking for groups and stuff on Facebook but I haven't really found anything so I thought i'd write this...it would be really nice to get to know people on the course before it begins!

Hi! Was that the accommodation you wanted? I haven't been told about my accommodation yet as I have to wait till next Thursday for my results before I know I've definitely got a place! I really hope I get in as Newcastle looks like such an amazing uni haha! Did you do A-levels or college?

It was the one I originally wanted but not so sure now lol. Yeah I went to college and my unconditional came through a couple of days ago. I agree the university looks amazing, so its just the wait now Good luck with your results.

Congratulations!! And thanks, I hope I get in cause I don't want to go anywhere else haha! Wish I did a course at college now cause I wouldn't have had to do other subjects then!

And nice to see other people doing the course too, I was beginning to think it was just me haha! :P If I get in I'm hoping to stay at Marris House cause it's close to where we have to go for lectures and stuff! Hope all of you are as excited as I am!

I don't really know if it's cheap or expensive haha! Still going to buy one either way cause it sounds amazing and I don't want to miss out haha!

I think it depends on how many of the daytime activities you're interested in, from what I've heard
I think I'll be buying one anyway, just to get involved and try stuff out. I'll just think of it like a festival ticket...but a week long one....with less live music xD :P

I think it's a bit steep, last years was £55 I think! Fair enough if you do a lot of daytime things but it's a bit unfair we can't just pay on the night etc. Then again I don't think they got NUS cards last year so that extra £12 is probably factored in. I'll probably buy one still though because I'm already loving the sound of Pandamonium never-mind the rest of the night events.
