    Sore to chew after filling
Hey guys, i recently went to the dentist and was told that i needed a filling. The dentist said that the cavity was not deep and very superficial, at this point my tooth was not sore. About a week after the filling my tooth became pretty sore to chew on (i can clench my teeth together without pain) and so i returned to the dentist suspecting the filling was to high but this wasnt the case as she tried the black paper thing and so she added a tiny bit more filling and said to return if the pain continues as she couldnt see anything wrong however my tooth is still sore to chew on, just wondering if anyone has had siniliar experiences and know what could be causing my pain. Could it e a cracked tooth? I kinda want to prepare for the worst, thanks.

My filling hurt for a little while after it was done. I didn't think much of it so didn't go back and it doesn't hurt any more. Maybe it is just settling in? Go back to your dentist if you're really worried.
