    Mechanical Engineering at Scottish uni
I didn't get my conditions for going to Strathclyde this year and it looks like I'm going to end up going to UWS to do Mechanical Engineering. I live 20 minutes away from Glasgow and I have ABBBBC in my highers. Would it be worth it for me to take a year out and apply to one of the uni's in Edinburgh or to just stay home and go with UWS?

Your results are good. Personally I think it would be a waste to go to UWS.
Could you maybe do a couple of AHs this year and reapply? Or try and get some work experience?
I would definitely reapply/apply to Edinburgh unis.
