Its lasted a few weeks now, a sicky feeling that lasts a few minutes, I have no idea what it is unless I am accidentally swallowing toothpaste. Is it possible to swallow toothpaste without actually gulping?

What can this be it is really annoying me? I might just be being paranoid.

Just a few questions to consider:

    Have you changed toothpastes recently?

    Are you allergic to anything?

    Is the toothpaste in date?

Have you changed toothbrushes recently? Is it something completely different than what you used to use? Allergic to any materials?

It could also be coincidence and not the toothpaste at all, could be a reaction to something that's changed in your diet, have you made any sudden changes to your diet? Changed brands or replaced anything?

What about your teeth, are they healthy? Had any problems with your oral health?

Can you check for any contamination where your toothpaste and toothbrush are kept? Make sure they haven't rubbed on anything for example.

Do you only feel sick after brushing your teeth? Are you sure you're not ill from something else, a bug or anything? Does it feel like you're going to vomit?

If all above is good, then more questions to consider:

Do you have any mental health conditions?

Are you normally paranoid of various habits that change over time?
