I want to gain more muscle
Hi! i'd like to gain more muscle

you always see guys who have muscle going around with girls... i'm 19 and have never had a girlfriend. i'm smaller than most guys in height, and i've not got a lot of confidence because of that.

i'm 5ft 8" in height, and weigh 10 stone. my thighs are large from cycling loads but i'd rather have more muscle in my arms and broader shoulders.

How can i gain muscle in my arms and appear broader at home?

"Appear broader at home?" What does that even mean lol

    Read the stickies.

You want more muscle to get the girls? No point over compensating dude. You probably just lack confidence.

Lifting for girls? Don't bother, fruitless pursuit
Lift for you and you alone.

think he meant 'I need to get bigger/broader etc by doing exercises from home, how can I do this?'

By a pull up bar op, probably the best piece of equipment around for the price.

Why not just join a gym though?
