Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offIn your opinion(Original post by ranbow99)
I really hate his music, the UK has much better talent than him tbh.
He's a mercury award winner and his first album won critical acclaim.
He originated a unique sound which he produced and vocalled himself. Not many "artists" can say that.
Talent does not equal the ability to sing when it comes to music. -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offHe?(Original post by Ice Constricter)
It wasn't a rhetorical question. I literally asked whether the OP wanted Justin Bieber because going by the kind of posts/threads he makes here he seems to be a huge fan.
Justin Bieber
He?
Really?
REALLY? -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offExactly, in my opinion I think there is more talent in the UK. (and I know many people who don't like him either) Did I say it was everyone's opinion? No because I respect that there are people that do like his music.(Original post by zKlown)

Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offYou can join them then for being a ****wad(Original post by Greenlaner)
Thats the "official" song for the Olympics? I'm so embarassed for this country.
Not often i agree with Miracle Day on a musical matter, but yes, Dizzee Rascal can **** off. Infact the whole "urban music" scene of London can **** off and die horribly in a fire.

One thing you have to admire about him is his ability to get people to buy his ****. -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offLeave it yeah fam! It happens to be London 2012 Olympics we aren't going to have a Northener singing for us it's about London but mostly Britain.(Original post by prog2djent)
I'm gonna par(t)ee to ma laarrst bref.
Hate. Hate. HATE London accents in rap.
Having said they, Boy In Da corner was his first and ... 'best'. As in lyrical content and meaning.
Why you hatin on Dizzee anyway he was one of the first guys to use all that silly slang they speak in London (but I'll give him that). But you betta not start fam you knoe fam coz like beef innit doe. wasteman fam innit dunknoe. -

I don't quite like his music, I'm more interested in what's between his legs. #tripod
Da***. You really do come out with some of the oddest things sometimes. -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offSubjectivity my friend(Original post by RtGOAT)
Just because something is unique doesn't mean its good.
One thing you have to admire about him is his ability to get people to buy his ****.
And like I said, he's a mercury award winner... You don't win that by being "****"
You're entitled to your opinion of course and I respect that, but he has a massive fanbase and that was even before he became "mainstream" so he does have talent.
I'm quite an avid grime fan, so I'm bound to appreciate his music (well his older material), I understand if you're not so therefore I would expect you to think his music is ****. -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offI wasn't attacking you lol(Original post by ranbow99)

You just said it as if what you said was fact and not your opinion, things can often be perceived wrong on the internet.
But yeah, a sensible post tbh, more music fans need to take this approach rather than just saying everything they listen to which doesn't fall into their tastes is **** -

Dude take deep breaths count to 10 and change the channel. He is ghettofabulous in some people's opinion and others like myself agree with you. All I can say is LEAVE IT YEAH and enjoy life.

Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offIts utterly retarded trying to compare a singer to a rapper since its similar to comparing a basketballer to a footballer. Two completely different genres, two completely different target audiences and two completely different aims.(Original post by Cephalus)
Well after he was mentioned I looked at some of his music on the Youtube.
And since when can you not compare oranges to apples?
Its still subjective though, you think everyone should agree with your opinions?(Original post by Miracle Day)
There's better talent in London to showcase.. Leona Lewis with a powerful voice.. Plan B with powerful lyrics.. -
Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** off
Oh wow Plan B with powerful lyrics, really?
He makes good music, but I wouldn't say iLL Manors is particularly appropriate lyrics to such an event. If you want to talk about lyrics and Dizzee Rascal
Bet the OP hasn't even listened to that song, and just associates him with Bonkers

Re: Wish Dizzee Rascal would **** offBonkers is the one that has been broadcasted to an audience of a billion!!!!(Original post by zKlown)
