You don't need supplements. Work out at home, do deadlifts/bench press/squats and you're set. Get a better phone contract. Shop at ALDI.

    I've slashed your monthly costs.
Can you do all those with a set of dumbells?? All I have is a set of Dumbells and a pull up bar.

How do you work your legs with a set of dumbells??

If you know what your doing, I manage 6-8 meal cheaper than most people.

Carbs sources like oatmeal, bagels, milk, pasta etc. have lots of carbs and protein for pretty cheap.

olive oil - usually on sale, take a few tablespoons a day for your fats.

meat - chicken, although if you having your protein from oatmeal etc. you'll only need like 200grams a day, pretty cheap.

As for protein shakes, I manage to get whey isolate from some websites which work out to 40p per 25grams of protein, cheaper than chicken!

If you know what your doing, its actually quite cheap. Message me if your having difficulties, make a diet plan and STICK TO IT!

    Experience = 200lbs, 12% bodyfat weightlifter.

He never said drink 3 table spoons of olive oil. He said take 3 table spoons, meaning put it on your food.

How many grams of protein are you getting per day and how many grams of carbs are you getting per day? If you don't know how many grams you're getting, list a typical day's food with quantities.

I'll do what I had today:

Frosties Cereal with Semi Skimmed Milk
Two Slices of Wholemeal Toast with Blackberry Jam
    Tea

    Mid Morning Snack
    Protein Shake

    Lunch
    1 Cottage Cheese sandwhich
    1 Banna
    1 Apple

    Dinner
Two Slices of whole meal Toast
    2 Eggs (Scrambeled)
    Baked Beans

I need to change my meal plans which is what I'm planning to do at this moment in time. Which includes cutting out the supplements and switching to whole foods.

Well you can do bench press for sure, you need a barbell for deadlifts. Squats with dumbbells, pretty easy. It's also safer to use dumbbells if you're on your own.

How many grams of powder are you adding to your shakes?

Don't get rid of supplements. Supplements aren't expensive if you actually bothered to shop around.

I take it you don't shop around for phone contracts and car insurance either?

I find that supplements don't work very well, I eat lots of chicken, tuna, beans, veg, rice, pasta, all the simple foods towards getting a good body, and it works really well. A lot of it can come down to how well you rest and your decisions to do well or not in the gym. My food bill comes to around £20 a week.

I've found supper to be a good way to get a few extra calories, protein etc For example I finished tea not that long ago and then later I'll make myself some scrambled egg, just really easy stuff. I also started drinking milk, give it a try.
