Levels of health effects of smoking...
Anon in case he sees.
So my boyfriend has smoked for a few years and it used to be about 15-20 a day I think. Now he's cut down to about 6 a day (sometimes none depending on the day and if he sees me, I dont smoke). He has tried giving up a few times but all his mates smoke and they all end up persuading him by their smoking n stuff.
I've had relatives/family friends getting smoking related illnesses, and am worried about my bf either for now or the future...he says not to worry because he doesn't smoke much anymore, but surely it still does something??
Any idea on the levels of health effects based on the amount of cigarettes smoked?? I'm hoping smoking as little as he does means minimal effects, and chain smoking is really high risk in comparison, but worried that it's simply black and white in that all smoking is really high risk.
Wanna know my facts a little before confronting him more with my worries!
