Biology SL vs. ESS SL

The other subjects I've chosen are English HL, History HL, French HL, Economics SL and Maths SL.

I'm not too keen on Biology, but I know that if I put in the effort I could probably get by. I'm not thinking of going into a science-related degree, either, and I don't know much about the ESS but it seems a little like a waste of time, from what I've heard. Help?

Also, any tips on what to expect when I start? c:

for me, biology SL was SO EASY! that may be insensitive because I generally just love biology and got an A* for GCSE. But I honestly believe it is the easiest option out of all the sciences. If you look at the syllabus for both HL and SL bio, you will notice that you only need to do HALF the topics the HL ppl do. Since you're taking relatively hard Highers (English and History...good luck!), standard bio is definitely the way to go.

I'm not sure about ESS but in my school it kinda has a reputation of 'the subject dumb people take'. I would suggest you only take it if you want to go into environmental related courses in Uni.
