SAAS: Still unsure how repeating a year works?
I've searched so much on funding for repeating a year, but have barely any answers.

Basically, I'm in my second year of university in Scotland, but I've failed my exams and resits (its been a bad year, struggled with the load due to health) and so my only option is to repeat the year.

Please somebody let me know how the system works?

Will SAAS pay for my repeated second year and third year, but expect me to pay my 4th year? (4 years of study having already been loaned) or does it not work that way? Will they expect me to find god knows how much money by September, then pay for my third and fourth year after I've repeated (if i can afford to repeat...)? Please help, I have had no answers anywhere...

-- Sorry about the bad grammar etc, its 5am but I just can't sleep I'm so worried

i think they will still fund you for the whole course! everyone is allowed 1 year buffer for failures!
