Why has the Bible been changed?
It amazes me, how? Surely if it's the word of God, how can man alter it?

As there is quite a bit of historical evidence to suggest that the Bible has been changed (check out those 98 references), we should be led to believe that the Bible is not the word of God (if we stick to your assumption that word of God cannot be altered by man).

Because God is within you. The message has been changed however to suit desires of Vanity, Culture, Idolatry, Traditions, Literalism, Flesh and Ego, of which things none can enter the Kingdom of God

What do you mean the Bible has been changed?

I believe that the Bible has been changed in that no two scripts we have match, but the vast majority of these discrepencies are down to punctuation, and the way the order of a sentence has been changed etc.

Why did God allow this? It makes no difference to Christian doctrine.

Do I believe that the Bible has been altered so that God's message today in the Bible is different to that which was preached?

Absolutely not. You cannot corrupt God's word, and I would view anyone who believes this to be the case with suspicion

    Hundreds of years?

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were the most important disciples.

If any of them had died before their gospels were written, their deaths would have almost certainly been included in the Bible.

No such accounts of their deaths are found.

I would say they were written at most a few decades after the death of Jesus

The bible has been changed because it is a story nothing more nothing less. It's like hollywood updating a book like peter pan to make it more successful as a movie. To suit the audiences tastes. The bible was probably just a collection of story's that was handed down from parent to child. Much like fairytales are today except over the years it has somehow amassed its self billions of followers.

It has NOT been changed, that's why the atheists trolls want you to believe. I am not even Christian, but for the love of God be proud of your religion, no matter what it is!

The Bible has been changed because why should a 21st century society follow ideals from 2000 years ago?
It's hard to imagine you're being serious.

Why do you have to be so rude?

Everybody accuses religious people of trying to force religion down their throats, and we get this?

I would be happy for me to believe what I believe, and for you to believe what you believe

The way I believe it has been altered is the true name or way of God has been replaced with idolatry.

Even the name Jesus should be a big clue to you

Yeah I don't believe that. I believe that God would not allow changes that would mislead people away from the truth. That would be the mark of a careless God.

And so what about Jesus' name?

A careless God? Where would this careless God be?

Jesus is not a hebrew name the original name Yehoshua would mean 'Yahweh To Save' yet even the word Yahweh is as change from the original Tetragrammton YHWH

Not that it lessens the message, but to receive the full message you must understand the truth

So what do you believe is the Truth?

Jesus is the latin form of the greek name Iēsous, a rendering from the Hebrew Yeshua. But this doesn't really make a difference

It makes a huge difference The God Of the Old Testament is the God of the New Testament and his name means I AM (twice) which the saviour bears.
