    Induction week
Hey guys, I'm going into second year in Sept (School of MVLS) and I was wondering if there is an induction week or do we just go straight into lectures around the 20th? unlike in first year where we had Freshers week and met some of the students in induction lectures. Thanks

I'm just going into third year life sciences, ermmm last year I'm pretty sure we had an introductory lecture to level 2 during freshers week that half the year didn't even turn up to. That was it. I actually don't even remember it, I'm just sure it did happen. After freshers week you start lectures straight away, the first lecture of most of your classes will be an introductory lecture, few of them just dive right into learning.
