Standard deviations are useful at seeing how far each result is from the mean. Use this formula:

Variance (standard deviation squared) is calculated by: finding the differences between the mean and each result, squaring each difference, adding the squared differences for each temperature together then dividing these by the number of sets of results. The standard deviation is calculated by finding the square root of the variance.

Then compare the differences between the mean and each result with the standard deviation and mean.
