4 A levels to make up for bad GCSEs?

I received 4 As at AS however I only got Bs and Cs at GCSEs. I've enrolled at my college for A level sin maths further maths and economics, would it make my application stronger if I also added chemistry to the A2? I understand that universities mainly make offers on 3, but surely doing 4 would be better no?
4 A levels is a lot of hard work.
I suppose it depends if you're willing to put the work in. I know a lot of people that attempted 4 A levels and then dropped one a little through the A2 year.
I'm doing 4 - maths, FM, Physics + chemistry just because all 4 are so interlinked - the maths bits in physics are a breeze, as well as the (small) bits in chemistry. I suppose it depends how much you enjoyed chemistry at AS. If you did, why not? If you didn't don't waste the work - as you don't really need it. (unless you plan on applying for engineering or something :P maybe)
