Im so bad with fractions :(

Can anyone tell me what : -2 x 116\frac{1}{16} - 12\frac{1}{2} x 12\frac{1}{2} =

I)m so sorry for asking basic questions. xD

(-2 x 1/16) - (1/2 x 1/2)

=> -1/8 - 1/4

=> -1/8 - 2/8

=> -3/8

I dont understand why fractions is one of the most hated parts of maths? All you have to do is follow the rules. I think it's because they don't teach it pictorially at school. it is pretty abstract if you dont think of it in terms of pies. They should have an actual pie in class and you only get a slice if you correctly work out your slice size lol. hat will motivate em.

It may not have been your intention but you used => which is the "implies" sign in maths. An expression implying another expression doesn't really mean anything. Equals signs would have made more sense.
