Biology to Further Maths

OK, so I am fairly disillusioned by my current AS level results and am currently considering something like further maths as an alternative.

I am enjoying the Maths A level at the moment which seems great. There is no ambiguity with getting things right. All seems quite straight forward once learnt.

The thing I have found with subjects like Biology and such is that you can know the content fully, i found it really easy but got humped on exam technique or something else the examiners were not happy with. This doesn't happen in maths. There maybe different methods and ways of answering things but you still get awarded for what you know, not like in Biology.

So, is it wise to skip from Biology to FM considering the above?
