How come Asian students achieve A/A* at GCSE Language?

Your friends - are they Chinese? I‘m Chinese but my first language is Cantonese/English, so my Chinese isn‘t that good. I did A Level Chinese and despite getting a high A in AS, I received a D in A2. I was shocked as I know I‘m not that bad, and one of my Mainlander friends even received a U! :eek: I don‘t actually know which part I failed, but I didn‘t think I did that bad.


Most of them are Chinese... Exactly what I want to say... Even Mainlander can fail First Language Chinese...Which means that test aint for real native chinese speakers either= =
