ICH Family friendly accomodation for mature postgrad
I'm going to be starting a PhD in September and have been allocated a flat in Commonwealth Hall where my partner and baby daughter will join me later in the year.
I'm concerned the CH is an undergrad res and hence noise etc. I have indicated to ICH that I would like to take the flat but that if anything becomes available in a more suitable i.e. postgrad res that they would allow this.
However, they are adamant that if I take the CH flat I will not be able to switch.
Any advice on negotiating the kafkaesque bureacracy of ICH would be greatly appreciated.
