second chance offers on ebay

ive just sold something on ebay.

i have another of the same thing that i sold and would like to sell it to the second higest bidder. can i use the "second chance offer" to do this or is the second chance offer service only available when the buyer didnt pay for the item?

Why don't you just contact the bidder, put the item up as buy it now at the price he offered you when he/she next comes online so they can pay you. This is a good thing to do if you want to make a private deal with someone!
