How much work/revision do you do at Uni?

Poll

How much work do you do an average weekday at Uni?

In general, not in exam period...

This includes rewriting lecture notes and stuff like that, not just straight revision...

It varies from year to year. In first year, I didn't do anything above lectures and classes to be honest. So that was 12 hours a week. In second year, the same really. In third year, however, I really knuckled down and spent most days in the library working; I assume I'll be doing the same, if not more, for my Masters.
Nowhere near enough. In first year I would just do the assignments and problems we were set (maybe +1 hour a day on top of my usual course hours of 9-5), and barely any more than that. Second year I tried to be a bit better but it didn't really work out - but when I did knuckle down for lab reports/exams/essays I pretty much lived in the library.

This year I'm aiming to be more organised and make sure I'm learning my work as I go along rather than getting to April and suddenly realise I don't know anything. I got lucky this year, next year I know this will definitely not work.
