    Ohh my gosh... i passed!!!!

    Third time lucky!

And i was verrrry lucky indeed-dont think i should have passed hahaha. windows were steamed up, so couldnt see out of them, causing me to go over a kirb when turning a corner. Also rolled right back on a hill start... And did various other mistakes making 8 minors. Although im pretty sure they should have been majors. Also bout 20 mins before the test, my engine cut out, and dad couldnt start it for like 10 mins, so didnt think i was gna even make it to the test centre lol.

    I had a nice examiner . A pass is a pass though :P.
    xx

    Passed this morning 8.40am!

4th test but first in 5 years. Had a wee hiatus lol!

Good route. Reverse round corner, Turn in the road and an emergency stop for good measure!

4 minor faults - approach speed at junctions, use of speed, gears, and one control fault on reverse round corner! Instructor says my examiner is a total ******** who gives nothing away, but I think he's brilliant!

So glad it's over with, now I can get a job!!

Wahey! Passed third time round, with 10 minors!

Was slightly nervous about it, especially realising that the examiner who I had last time would be in the car again, complete mardy arse and did nothing to improve the perception of driving examiners although there probably are some good ones out there. Even after he told me Id passed, he was rolling off my mistakes and being abit patronising, but at that point, I didnt really care!

I kinda drilled into myself that Id failed, because my driving wasnt as smooth as I thought it would but was pleasantly surprised, just glad to get it outta the way.

I had reverse round the corner, was focused on my left mirror and didnt see a car zoom past me which I thought would be a fail, but only gave me a minor. Did TIR and it was a busy route at the start, then it quietened down at the end and I remembered this time when I came into the test centre to put it into first and not stall although incidentally, I did stall at the start of my test when I was coming out of the test centre lol.

Now, just need to get a job (which Im sure will be easy lol) and save for a small, little run around!

I took my theory test 3 times and failed. So I left it for a few years, and passed!! That was in May, by october I passed my driving test 1st time with only 3 minors. Im soooo happy. My 1st minor was for scrapping the kerb, 2nd was reverse round corner was too wide, 3rd was I hesitated at a junction. This was only because some silly person in the other car made me hesitate!!! Im so happy, and its proof you should never give up!!

Well done to the others who have passed!

Well done! I passed today 3rd time too! I had 3 minors, you beat me! Feels goooooooood! :woo:

For me the examiner made all the difference, I really liked mine today and felt he was on my side, whereas the guy I had for the last two seemed just waiting for me to mess up.

A quick question, passed my test on the 9th, got my full driving licence through the post today. Slightly confused about the expiration date of my licence, on the front it says its runs out in 2013, but on the back where the category of vehicles are listed, it says 2056?

I am guessing that you got your provisional in 2003 ? You will have to renew your licence every 10 years because the picture will need updating.

Ah right, yeah I did get in 2003, so the 2013 is for the picture change. Will that cost me money, updating the picture? Cheers.

After a quick look I think you have to pay £20 every 10 years, which sucks.
