Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" Thread
I passed my first test today morning with 5 minors. I stalled once on a hilly area but quickly put the brakes on, so I didn't give the examiner the chance to fail me on that, hehe. It was raining so I went slower than normal, which I thought might get me in trouble but he said it was fine. He said that my driving was pretty solid - I was so convinced that I would fail after the pre-exam lesson - so so so happy!!!

Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" Thread
I passed first time just over 3 weeks ago but my full licence came today
.
I think I was very lucky not to have got even a minor for forgetting to put the handbrake on after the emergency stop
. Although I think I got one for going in the wrong lane at a traffic light. Got three for hesitation though
. And I almost failed while doing my reverse around the corner, by almost reversing up onto the pavement where the dropped kerb was on the corner

Passed first time today
I managed an impressive 12 minors. Apparently my driving was consistently bad but I didn't do anything awful enough to get a serious. The examiner seemed pretty pissed off, and pretty much refused to talk to me afterwards but ah well. Felt so damn smug...

Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" ThreadHaha this was me! 12 minors too. Some I felt were a little bit harsh but I didn't care to be honest. The relief though when he told me I'd passed(Original post by Patriot Rich)

Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" ThreadWow, I never knew that examiners are themselves examined when they are examining in a real life test lol. Did that make you more nervous during your test or did it make you feel more comfortable knowing your examiner may also have been sh*tting his pants during your test?(Original post by Emmanuel321)
Passed today with four minors! Was my first time and the examiner was being examined, having someone in the back was weird!

I hope that doesn't happen to me during my test.
Congratulations! That was a risky move telling your examiner you loved her. She might have failed you for that(Original post by juniorukwa)
Passed 2nd time 2 minors 2 weeks ago, told my examiner I loved her lol

Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" ThreadI passed mine over two weeks ago now and still no license so I'll let you know if I don't get mine after three weeks either. Maybe they are backlogged or something?(Original post by Robin555)
Hi, I passed my test three weeks ago but haven't received my pink license yet. I rang the DVLA and they said that the DSA were being a bit useless at the moment and hadn't even notified them that I'd passed yet. Apparently, I might have to wait another three weeks. Pah.
I just wondered if anyone else who passed around the same time has received theirs yet? -
I passed exactly a month ago today and got my licence after 22 days (on 6 July). Although for me it won't really be needed yet as I won't be insured on my mum's car before I turn 18.(Original post by JemMills)

Maybe you should wait a bit more after the three weeks are up, to allow for time in the post?

The guy gives you your certificate, takes your provisional and it comes through the post after 5 weeks. Ask your instructor about photo change... but how have you changed so much since getting your provisional? Provisionals only last for 2 years I think(Original post by JustDisturbia)
hi
i was jus wondering what happens after you pass your test? how do you get your licence? and is it possible to change the photo before you get your full licence? my provisional photo is a bit old now

Re: The Ultimate "I passed my driving test!" ThreadNo, they last 10 years...the same as full licences. It's the theory test pass certificate that only lasts for two years.(Original post by es.c)
