I passed yesterday! 4th time's the charm, with 2 minors! Nearly got away with no minors at all. So chuffed!! Havent stopped smiling drove on my own yesterday for the first time too! Was scary, but super fun

I passed last thursday, best day of my life. it was my second test, first test i got 1 major and 2 minors (messed up in roundabout and the examiner had to move the wheel for me). So on my second test I got 8 minors and passed, my route was pretty decent with no roundabout nut there was several mini roundabouts. I was so ****ing happy to pass, couldnt stop smiling. that very same day I had a great make out session with my crush (now gf), so needless to say it was the best day of my life.
now to look for cars... and study for my a levels.

Haha I passed last Friday and it was my second test too! I got 2 majors in my first test... probably due to nerves and too much a level stress... then 1 minor in my second! hahahah good way to end that day as well XD

firstly congratulations everyone whos passed! I'm sitting my second test at the end of this week (friday) at 8:50 so bus lanes will be in operation! has anyone got any tips to make yourself aware of bus lanes and how did you remind yourself not to drive in them?

Finally passed, 4th time round So happy, 6 minors (which is actually more than my first 2 tests combined haha) nearly messed it all up at the end as I was so nervous, I pulled into the bay quite badly and even though he said "thanks, that's fine" I kept trying to correct and nearly went into the wall! Such a relief that it's over, kept failing due to a stupid mistake which just made me more nervous for the next test.

Passed at 8:50 this morning after failing on monday! got only two minors and I've been over the moon the entire day 😁

So how many days did you have between tests? Don't they have the ten day rule now?
Passed yesterday! Was so calm throughout the whole test. Had to do reverse around the corner on a hill. Thought I would mess it up but by the grace of Allah I didn't. Had a roundabout with traffic lights and loads of mini ones. There was many times when I thought I had failed but I'm so so glad this is off my shoulder. Literally screamed when she told me I passed. Couldn't have been any happier.
Good luck to everyone taking their test. Don't panic. Don't rush it. Just stay calm and drive as you normally would!!
Now time to car hunt, anyone got any advice on whom to choose for insurance? I'm 18 years old so I know it wouldn't be very cheap but every little penny counts haha.

I passed my second driving test this morning! So happy it doesn't feel real though. I got 12 minors hahaha but the examiner said I was a safe driver. A pass is a pass!

Wow, reverse around the corner on a hill! Well done!
For insurance, I went on compare the market.com and went for the cheapest insurance there. Like you said, since your 18 it probabaly won't be cheap.

I waited three days between my tests I live in Ireland we don't have that rule

Yes! it's definitely an advantage because it means if you get a cancellation you're in straight away which is what happened for me thankfully!

Passed first time to day with 7 minors! So happy, and my examiner was so nice , good luck to everyone else sitting their tests!
Passed today with 4 minors first time examiner was awesome. Confidence is half the battle tbh and the test flew by plus I think I finished early

Was hoping I wouldn't see you in the I failed my test thread thanks! Haha I was hoping I wouldn't have to post on there myself earlier! Just looking at quotes online now and found one for 1379 pounds with my mum as a names driver but will have to have a look around more.

Mine was 1000 (probably more) on my dad's car as him as named driver but I'm lucky because he sorted it out and paid for it. I don't really know the exact price
But hopefully you find something cheaper

But hopefully you find something cheaper wow that's awesome! What a great price. My mum said she will sort it for me aswell haha but I want to make it as easy as possible for her and get a good deal. Did you have a black box in yours? I will save a lot if I get a black box
