If that's the case, then SOAS courses have obviously been adequately subscribed to by quality applicants. It doesn't really come as a surprise since SOAS is the leader in its specialist field.

Frankly I was surprised there were so many extra places, it made me less proud of my offer. :frown: ol

Does this now mean that anyone who hasn't yet received an offer from SOAS is likely to be rejected? If there are no places through extra, then that means they've already filled them but does this mean they've told everyone who they are giving offers to?

it may just mean they are still considering a small number of applications to fill the last places but do not have enough vacancies to want to go through extra. Plus they told me that they were not sure, but that there was a possibility they would enter clearing this year.

Yeah, I was dreaming of going to LSE and I got my offer for a tough course. I got rejected for all the others, but then I was pretty rash :p: what with applying only to Oxbridge, King's, UCL and LSE, and each time for very competitive courses (Economics or Management-related).
