    Want to study abroad. Help!
    Hi everybody....
I am Ankit. I am from India and I want to study architecture(bachelors) abroad at the cheapest and the best university possible. I do not belong to a very rich family and my father can only afford a maximum of Rs.5-6 lakhs per year i.e. around 10,000 USD for everything i.e tuition fee + cost of living. Please suggest me some good universities around the globe where I can study in this budget if possible.
NOTE - I am willing to do any amount of work while studying to support my father and I am also seeking for any kind of scholarship or assistantship etc.
    Thank you....

Hi , Ankit. Are you looking for a country specifically? You could do an Internet search and see which Universities are considered to be the best in the Architecture field. I am Romanian , so regarding the price, I'd say you could study here for that amount and pay your maintenance, but I'm not sure how well regarded Architecture is here and what could you possibily do with a Romanian degree after. Try lookig into universities in Denmark ( no tuition fees as far as I know, I'm not sure of only for EU students though, so you should look into it) or Finland. France surely has good architecture schools and Spain/Italy might have them also and I believe the prices would be suitable for your budget. Try looking on websites such as this one : http://www.bachelorsportal.eu/ and just search for Architecture and see what schools come up. Good luck!

Studying abroad is a very expensive option, have a look at universities around the EU. I only know about England and I think the fees might be out of your range. Your best bet is to get really outstanding grades first. Then research around what country appeals to you the most and what they have to offer then get in contact with them regarding scholarships, bursaries etc.

    Hi Madison24 and Philzy,
I am not looking for a specific country. I don't have any problem in studying anywhere in the world. But my budget is very low that's why I am asking. Is it possible to study in a good college at this budget. I am sure I will not be able to get the best university in the world but I want the best education possible under this budget anywhere in the world. And I am also willing to work while studying to pay for my accommodations, food and groceries, clothes, traveling costs etc....
And thanks for the website Madison. It was a good help.
2 days ago I came across this site and there are some universities and countries listed here....
    http://matadornetwork.com/abroad/7-c...n-of-us-costs/
Are these countries and universities good to study architecture? Are these in my budget?
Can I work part-time to support my family financially? And if yes how much can I save per month and what is the cost of living in these countries?
    Thank you

Re: Want to study abroad. Help!
Okay so, first you are welcome the website you listed is useful indeed, although I'm sensing the author of the post is talking more about graduate (Masters) programmes in those countries. Nevertheless, some of them I've already listed myself. Spain's universities are good , as the article said, I'd recommend Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona ,Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Universitat de Valencia, Universitat Politenica de Valencia ( go on their websites for information about whether they have the course or not, the tuition fees, but these shouldn't exceed $1,500 per year). For maintenance ( rent, food) it depends whether you live in student halls or in private flats. Since those are Spain's biggest and most expensive cities, I'd say rent for a 1 bedroom flat can come up to $500 per month, and let's say an additional 300$ for food , utilities and socialising. Bear in mind, I am not certain about this prices, it's just what I believe after visiting Spain a couple of times.
Same goes for France, it depends on which city you choose - if you choose Paris, it will be expensive in terms of rent and food, but it shouldn't be more than 1,700$ per month for these if you don't pretend to live in the middle of Paris.
Sweden- as the article said, there are no tuition fees to pay, but living can be quite pricey, same as France. I have a couple of friends in Denmark, and they pay around 400 euros per month the rent, so that's about 600$ without food and socialising. But since you have 10,000$ per year and you wouldn't have to pay tuition fees, you should have more than enough money even without taking a part-time job (of course, if you do wish to have one, that's up to you).
Germany - I know nothing about Universities here, but the living costs are probably as high or higher than Spain and France.

Bottom line is, you have plenty of money. 10,000$ equals to about 7,400 euros (you should start thinking in euros, since all the countries listed above use this currency). If you pay 1,000 euros per year for University, that leaves you with 6,400 euros for rent, food and socialising for about 10 months, presuming you'd go home for the holidays. That's 640 euros per month. Again, it depends on the size of the city you'll be studying in and if you share a flat with other people, that might be cheaper!
If you manage to get a part-time job, that'd be great, although with the economy in Spain and maybe even France right now, it's not really guaranteed. I can't speak for Sweden and Germany though.
Let me know how else I can help you

not really he could go to a slighty lower rank university were the fees wont be super high but obviously not a very low ranked uni, he'll be obviously wanting a good bachelors degree

Depends on what kind of uni the OP wants, low ranked unis do offer lower fees but it depends

I'd suggest taking a look at universities in Germany, France, Netherlands and the rest of Europe (other than England). I can tell you they're quite cheap with decent rankings, but one problem you might face is their language of instruction. Many of them do not teach in English so you'll have to find that yourself!

Bohat log Germany mein language seekh kar phir apna Bachelors start kartey hain, ye bhi aik option hai.

    Greetings from Pakistan.
