Not really, only some questions of the QR section of the UKCAT seem to tie in...(Original post by Kysa)
As a vet candidate I need to take the BMAT but not the UKCAT. Is the UKCAT a bit like the section 1 of the BMAT and if so, is it worth practicing on UKCAT questions? -
Re: *MEGATHREAD* - The Ultimate Medicine BMAT 2013 Entry MegathreadWhich syllabus are you referring to?(Original post by ViceVersa)
They aren't
Just like the syllabus isn't accurate and the difficulty is way too much and there are too many A-Level questions and not enough of GCSE stuff.

Re: BMAT preparation
Hi guys. I was worried about this as well, as your BMAT score can apparently have a big impact on whether you get interviewed by the top unis. Someone on this site said they thought that doing a course wasn't needed but I've asked lots of people since and they all say do it. Kaplan is quite long and expensive but I typed 'BMAT courses' into Google and the ones at the top of the page look quite good so I might sign up. Do you know anything about any of them?

What about section 1 , are the questions more difficult in the book?IMO I think section 3 is the only one worth practicing from that book.(Original post by AS01)
I am happy that you said so. I have been practising from that book and it seemed a bit difficult. Does it have difficult question for both section or just section 2?
If you have time, you can practise section 1 but section 2 I would never recommend doing even if you do have time to spare.

Re: *MEGATHREAD* - The Ultimate Medicine BMAT 2013 Entry MegathreadWhy do you feel that section 2 is not worth doing?(Original post by ViceVersa)

Is it worth practising section 1?
-
Re: *MEGATHREAD* - The Ultimate Medicine BMAT 2013 Entry MegathreadYeah(Original post by AS01)
lol! okay
So if I say that I do the question from section 1 before even doing question from other books which have more relevant question then would I be wasting my time?

Not really answering questions yet except the 400Q book ( will run out of resources) so I'm just revising gcse stuff bout 30/40 mins a day. It's all coming back to me...(Original post by Doppel)
Out of curiosity, how many hours do those of you who have begun preparing for the BMAT spend each day on it?

Re: *MEGATHREAD* - The Ultimate Medicine BMAT 2013 Entry Megathread
I don't do A Level physics. I've been revising GCSE physics but it seems like very basic stuff. What resources do you guys recommend? Is it worth me buying a book to work from? I have a CGP Physics GCSE book but I HATE CGP - I can't stand the style of writing. I've been using Bitesize because it's free lol. What else would you guys recommend me doing?
