Buying a Wheelchair ?

Hello, I want to buy an electric wheelchair , but since I'm not from the United Kingdom I do not know any stores for disabled people. I was thinking about purchasing a wheelchair from this website http://www.uk-wheelchairs.co.uk/ is this a good idea?
I will be living in London.
Thank you !
I would never recommend buying a wheelchair unseen.

Would you be able to hire a chair for a couple of weeks after you arrive in london while you shop around and find the best chair (at the right price) for you?

The red cross do wheelchair hire (although I don't know if they do electric chairs) and also have some links to sites with advice on buying equipment: http://www.redcross.org.uk/What-we-do/Health-and-social-care/Social-support-in-the-UK/Medical-equipment

There are a LOT of "mobility product" suppliers in the UK (online and on websites) who provide pretty mediocre products at a high price with no expertise or advice (or training of their staff). I'd treat any company with caution unless you get a personal recommendation :frown:
