Renting my spareroom to a couple?
Hey guys,
I was thinking about renting my spare room to a couple, and the main thing that worried me is that when they have sex,t will be awkard for me as i will be next door!! I don't mind the noise of the extra person as long as they dont stay awake too late.
I do think that it will be very quiet with just one person though ... and maybe even a little lonely.
Any thoughts on how i could make sure they they have sex when i am not there i.e. when im out - it would be too personal to ask how often they have sex ...
I have a spanish couple - mid 20s who are interested in my room - i think that I would get along with them very well but worried about the sex issue and the fact that their mother toungue is spanish!
I also have an option of a single girl living there (has a BF somewhere) who seems mature and sensible, but a tad boring if im honest, she is early 30s and i am early 20s and i would like someone who is similar to me and young-ish. but i do know that she will pay rent on time etc.
which one would you choose? :O

You can't really ask them not to have sex when you're not there. They are renting the room off you and they are human after all! If it bothers you that much then you should just rent it to a single person. That's not to say they won't bring someone back though after a night out.

Re: Renting my spareroom to a couple?
Personally I would keep looking- early 30s your growing up and it is doubtful you will want to socialise too much with a 20 year old and the couple will more than likely spend all their time together- maybe the odd hello and a brew but not much else.
I guess it depends if you want a "social" share. -
Re: Renting my spareroom to a couple?it is not can't be asked, you are wrong. look here. it's "CAN't be arsed"(Original post by vincentiPad)

EDIT: I now realise this was in reference to my signature. It's NOT "can't be asked". I wonder if you have heard a posh person say "can't be assed" and misheard their pronunciation due to their accent. You should check that you're correct before "correcting" others :P
