Re: Bands/Artists that you really like but no one else seems to..Prince is amazing, but I don't know a single person my age who listens to him. Matchbox Twenty - no one knows of. And if I mention Train everyone says 'hee-eey' or 'drive by-i-a-a-i'. They have other/better songs.

Re: Bands/Artists that you really like but no one else seems to..The Pineapple Thief, it's sort of like a mix between Porcupine Tree and Radiohead/Muse, the album Someone Here is Missing is fantastic! Unfortunately, I haven't met anyone else who's actually heard of them...

Supposedly big in Finland, and tragically nowhere else. Their sound is lushness incarnate, the lead singer has a voice like liquid charm and the lyricist really is a poet.

Re: Bands/Artists that you really like but no one else seems to..I like Manic Street Preachers. They're a bit like Radiohead but nowhere near as popular, although they were well-known in the UK in the 90s. Their album 'The Holy Bible' is one of the best albums I've ever heard.
