a 230V electrical appliance has a power rating of 800W

a)i) calculate the energy transfer in the application in 1min ii) the current taken by the appliance

i know this must be a quite straight forward physics question but after 2 weeks of starting physics im not so sure which forumla i should be using for this, my confusion is that ive read that the energy transfer is equal to the work done W but in the question it already says '800W' isn't that the answer then??

I have the answers to the AS textbook, and could put them online for you.

Can someone advise what the best way of doing this would be? I don't know what TSR's policies are.
Can you please put them online or send me a link to these
    Thanks
