    Do any universities ask for A* in appied subject?
    Hi,
    Was just wondering are there any universities who ask for an A* in A2 in the subject which you're applying for?

    (I want to apply for History)

    Oxbridge do this along with UCL and a few other top universities, the typical offer being A*AA-AAA with the A* in the degree subject.

    Lots do for Maths (my subject), not too sure about History other than my friend got A*AA offer from Durham for History with A* in anything.
