Depends when that individual University enrolls under-grad students.

If worried, contact the Uni - just phone the main University number and ask.

That depends on when you start making contact. Clearing closes officially on 22nd October, whereas pretty well all university terms I can think of will have started before then. Once you've got a place, you will register at the same time as anyone else.
